A STUNNING FOSSILISED (DUAL SIDED) TREE TRUNK SLICE DISPLAY SPECIMEN FROM MADAGASCAR. This is one of the best fossils we have seen through our door. A perfect and complete petrified wood whole trunk slice. An array of wonderful and interesting light brown to dark brown age-rings, plus white, orange and yellow tones throughout the item. Both sides are the same in terms of quality as the pictures show. Too difficult to try and describe what there is to see in this specimen, but I’ve tried to photograph the most interesting and unusual bits for you. A really be autiful, stunning whole tree slice item for display. Excellent shape, colours and end finish. Both polished sides ideal for displaying, the problem is – which side do you want to show off? The edges are shown in the photos as well, so you can see the petrified bark.
