For those of you waiting for a WORLD CLASS Arizona!! A bsolutely beautiful round of petrified wood, in a larger size. Araucaria, from Holbrook, Arizona. It comes out of one of the finest collections of petrified wood in the Northwest! Perfect, liquid, glassy polish. Very few fractures, for an AZ of this size. This is a museum quality gem! Jim thought it was a dandy, and he priced it accordingly, if not a little high (I think). 17 1/2 x 17 x 3/4. Heavy, thick, old school slab. Back is fiber glassed for additional support. I’m not the biggest fan of Arizona wood, but this round is exquisite! I have been collecting wood for 30 years, and this is as good as it gets. I would keep this for myself, if I had the room!
