Very Large Fire Red Opalized with Partial Agate Formations Cut and Polished! This specimen was found in Arizona in 1994 where it was saved for a few years and handed down to a buddy who modified it by cutting into it. What he found was a stunning display of colors and the slow process of nature to bring it to its natural beauty. I have been holding on to this for a while now and know that for this price it is a steal. Lots of hours went into this finished piece and it is absolutely one of a kind and favorite. A specimen like this is very rare because the red is almost a fire opal with ho deep the red is and to have it professionally polished on the face brings it over the top and very high quality. This is one for anyone who collects petrified wood because it is also opalized and partially formed agate. Great red amongst a beautiful brown, sure to turn heads and look fantastic on a display. Did I mention that it’s also UV reactive? It measures at 3 3/4 inches tall and 3 inches wide with a 2-inch width. It looks much larger in person. Order before December 19th (US only) and it should arrive before the Holidays. When taking the photo, only fluorescent lighting was used. There is black light to show the opal in the mix of pictures. This specimen is really cool! Although coloring might be altered by the lighting, I try my best to be as accurate as possible.
