Common opal Petrified Wood Limb Branch New Mexico. Highly silicified cedar limb Sierra county, New Mexico Fra cristobal range 3″ across face and a bit over 7.25″ long. Beautiful replaced structure and features on the exterior. A known wood for great color knicknamed calico wood. Not much is found currently this was collected pre 1980 and i believe alot of the wood from the area was in this collection. No polish and has a very nice rotted core.
