Preservation is perfect, and is wonderful under the microscope. Weird and unusual grain pattern. 2 1/4 x 2 1/4 on the mirror polished face. Weighs 3 1/2 lbs. I have been collecting wood for 30 years, and this is a nice one. If you specialize in twigs, branches, and logs, and sticks do not let this one pass you by!
