This is a rare multicolored with some green jasper replaced petrified wood limb cast specimen which has been polished on one end and which was collected in Oregon. This green fossilized petrified wood specimen measures 3 inches long by 2.30 inches wide and weighs 10 ounces. There are only a handful of places in the world that produces green colored petrified wood. This fossilized wood is Oligocene in age. Most of the fossilized wood collected in this area of Oregon is identified as Coniferous, Cypress, Sequoia and Quercus (oak). This amazing specimen would be an excellent addition to any rock and mineral collection.
