A seldom seen smaller round of petrified oak from the classic location of Stinking Water Pass in central Oregon. Beautiful dark gold agate. It does not get much better then this. And in a smaller, more affordable size! It comes out of one of the finest collections of petrified wood in the Northwest! Perfect, liquid, glassy polish. Preservation is perfect, and is wonderful under the microscope. Great size for a Stinking Water oak, as some of them are a lot larger. 6 3/4 x 4 x 1/2. Nice thick old school slab. Back is fiber glassed for additional support. I have been collecting wood for 30 years, and this is as good as it gets.
