Beautiful slab of petrified wood from the classic location Sweet Home petrified forest in Oregon. A lot of wood is found at the Sweet Home dig. It covers a huge area. The most coveted is the wood with dry rot pockets filled with blue agate. This one even has a pretty carnelian fortification to boot! It is as rare as hen’s teeth. Who knows when you will see one like this again. It comes out of one of the finest collections of petrified wood in the Northwest! Perfect, liquid, glassy polish. Preservation is perfect, and is wonderful under the microscope. 8 x 6 1/4 x 3/16. I have been collecting wood for 30 years, and this is as good as it gets. Please check out the other museum quality wood that I have listed. Stay safe and be healthy! The item “Beautiful Sweet Home slab! With Pocket Rot! TOP SHELF” is in sale since Thursday, May 14, 2020.
