Absolutely beautiful round of petrified wood, species unknown. From the Lewiston Grade find in Idaho state. Found in the 1950’s. Locality not often seen for sale. It comes out of one of the finest collections of petrified wood in the Northwest! Perfect, liquid, glassy polish. Preservation is perfect, and is wonderful under the microscope. Many shades of brown. A little darker then the picture shows. 6 1/2 x 6 x 3/8. I have been collecting wood for 30 years, and this is as good as it gets. Please check out the other museum quality wood that I have listed.
