Good luck ever finding another like this! Beautiful, hard to come by, perfect little log of petrified sycamore wood. From the Teeter Ranch, near Post, Oregon. Location is long closed to collecting. This one is a killer! On one end the log is branching, so you get two hearts and crotch wood. It comes out of one of the finest collections of petrified wood in the Northwest! Preservation is perfect, and is wonderful under the microscope. Beautiful agatized wood in blue grey and tan, with a great gnarly exterior. The polished end is 4 x 2. Weight is almost 5lbs. I have been collecting wood for 30 years, and this is a sweety. I should be keeping this one for my collection, but I just don’t have the room. This one needs a good home. That would break my heart!
