#13525 is a medium pair of petrified wood bookends weighing. They are 9 wide, 7 3/8 tall and 1 5/8 thick standing vertically or 14 7/8 wide, 4 1/2 tall and 1 5/8 thick standing horizontally. They have beautiful beige bark and small natural cavities. The photos make them appear to be dark blue but they are predominantly black with several shades of brown and light blue Chalcedony filling their small fissures. This tree lived, died and petrified near what we now refer to as Sweet Home, Oregon during the Oligocene/Miocene Epochs more than 23 million years ago. Petrified wood bookends are the ultimate collectible antiques.
