This wonderful pine cone section comes from our personal collection. We acquired this pine cone a long time ago when fossil pine cones were more accessible. Now, these pine cones are not accessible (exporting is prohibited). This is almost a whole pine cone. There is only one small piece missing which allows us to see what is inside. This cone is not polished. All sides are natural and rather weathered. This Fossil Pine Cone is a very rare collector’s item. The approximate weight of this pine cone is 1 lb 3 oz and, based on its largest dimensions, it measures about 4.22″X2.7″X2.1. The photos were taken outdoors in sunlight and color variations from the actual stone are possible (also depends on your computer monitor).
