Beautiful little round of petrified sycamore wood. From the Teeter Ranch, near Post, Oregon. Location is long closed to collecting. This one is a killer! It comes out of one of the finest collections of petrified wood in the Northwest! Perfect, liquid, glassy polish. Preservation is perfect, and is wonderful under the microscope. Beautiful agatized wood in blue-gray and tan. 4 1/4 x 3 1/2 x 3/16. I have been collecting wood for 30 years, and this is as good as it gets. I should be keeping this one for my collection!
