Measures around 4 inches long x 3 inches wide x 1.75 inches thick. Weighs approximately 299 grams. Originates from the Chinle formation (late Triassic period) deposit found near Winslow, Arizona. The wood of Conifer trees was largely replaced during the fossilization process with chromium, resulting in the natural green color. An extremely rare specimen.
