Beautiful large round of petrified hardwood, from Vantage, in central Washington state. An area that, like so many others, is now closed to collecting. It comes out of one of the finest collections of petrified wood in the Northwest! Perfect, liquid, glassy polish. Preservation is perfect, and is wonderful under the microscope. Polished on both sides. Tans, with cream colors. 11 1/2 x 8 x 7/16. These rounds come from logs dug in the 50’s and 60’s. Some of the best ever!
