In the darker area Montgomery county, Conroe, Texas Found in Beaumont formation (sands) Pleistocene era 20″ × 8.5″ and 4 thick. Very large display, with nice aesthetic features. I do not know of any oaks from this county making it to the market on Facebook so far. This is the county just north of Houston. Beautiful blacks with yellow to contrast the white lines. Took a great polish in the silicified areas. One of the newest and prettiest texas woods ive seen.
