Beautiful round of petrified wood, in a medium size. Araucaria, from Holbrook, Arizona. It comes out of one of the finest collections of petrified wood in the Northwest! Perfect, liquid, glassy polish. Very few fractures, for an AZ. 9 x 7 1/2 x 1/2. Was repaired before polishing, and it does not detract from the piece, in my opinion. A color explosion in bright red with yellow! I have been collecting wood for 30 years, and this is as good as it gets. I would keep this for myself, if I had the room!
