Perfect, liquid, glassy polish. Preservation is perfect, and is wonderful under the microscope. Great size for a Stinking Water oak, as some of them are a lot larger. 15 x 10 x 5/8. Nice old school slab. Back is fiber glassed for additional support. I have been collecting wood for 30 years, and this is as good as it gets.
