HUGE, Rare Mazon Creek Fossil Petrified Wood. This is an OUTSTANDING piece. It is petrified wood from that unique time and place. You can still see tiny pieces of coal stuck in the grooves. Large piece measures approx: 8 1/2″ long x 7″ wide x 3 thick. It weighs almost 10 pounds! This has been kept in a private collection.
